Interesting fact about these hand hewn timbers that we have for sale from a confirmed barn built in 1870.
The trees to make these timbers would have a growth of 100 plus years before being taking down to build the barn in 1870. This would bring the age of the timbers to 1700’s. The value is in the craftmanship.

Now this is a great idea if you’re planning to put in garden beds or even recreate your old one with character 😀 The head and foot board would definitely be useful for vine planting .
