We've been busy sprucing up our different sites!!!
This is one of the photo backdrop sites and although I loved the gates weathered look, they were so washed out they didn't stand out anymore and I knew they needed to be protected. So Sundance Coatings log home stain to the rescue again!
We've also added a dock to the pond! We need more poles however, our 12 footers aren't long enough to extend out the next 2 sections!
Much easier to launch the She Said Yes event from the dock!!!

This event is supporting GROW Adult Assisted Activity Center as they begin their journey helping the adults that age out of LESA at 26 years of age. This activity center will give these adults a place to go to keep them active in our community!

She Said Yes! event is fully launched and ready for bookings. Are you wanting a romantic evening to propose or celebrate your spouse for an anniversary?
This event is for you!!!
Float on the pond while dinner is prepared by our private chef (choice of 3 entrees) or take a walk around the grounds for some beautiful pics to capture your special evening. Dine at a romantic table with a bonfire near by to enjoy a snuggle after dinner and top off the evening by adding a stay in the Parlor Room at the Farmhouse for an additional fee.

This is our crib patio space that is also available for rent and is used for cocktail hour during weddings. It seats 50 with beautiful rod iron furniture and has patio lighting as well...
It did have a problem....a mulberry tree that was relentless at producing mulberries and would begin dropping in June and last until September. Many meetings took place over removing this tree and it just couldn't stay and continue to make a mess. Now we have planted 13 trees on property so far...we love our trees.
We've ordered a sail to keep it shaded and I'll post a final pic when that is installed and the patio is set back up for upcoming events!
We are always striving to improve our event spaces for all of you!!!

The sign has returned and all ready for the next event!
Thank you to First Impression Print & Marketing for initially designing the sign with me, to Armstrong Millworks for the beautiful mahogany wood and engraving, and to Sundance Coatings for supplying the new finish! You can really appreciate the Mahogony wood now.
I also repainted the frame while the sign was down just because if you know me, I'm always painting and staining!

We removed the signs last night to refresh them. They shouldn't have needed it already but the clearcoat I was advised ...

We removed the signs last night to refresh them. They shouldn't have needed it already but the clearcoat I was advised to use failed miserably... but no worries, Sundance coatings to the rescue and we won't be using a clear coat anymore! I should be able to post the finished signs tomorrow!

We continue to create and get ready for the upcoming events! Last week into this week we removed the trees and w**d hill from in front of our Farmhouse and although it isn't finished with plantings and other surprises, it is much cleaner for our many renters scheduled this summer!
The pots at the barn are beginning to fill in, a couple more weeks and they will be gorgeous! Love the flowers available this year. The blush pink new guinea impatiens is called Cotton Candy and is new this year.
