A Glam Good Time, LLC

A Glam Good Time, LLC Hey Glam Girls!!!!! Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me! Let’s see where do I begin? I mean who doesn’t do that? Let me stop you right there!

We plan, design and execute parties for that busy hostess with the mostest that believes, as women, we deserve to gleefully and excessively celebrate the special occasions in our lives with an over the top, one-of-a-kind themed party. Well let me first say that I absolutely LOVE designing and throwing themed parties! Ask my girlfriends and they will tell you that I am always on the hunt for my ne

xt unique party theme and once I start designing, I am totally submerged in bliss! Now I won’t lie, while I love a good ole’ night of movies, dinner, and drinks with my girls, I think it’s kinda boring and common. Sooooooo, I think that a good themed party should happen a couple of times a year at least! Trust me, if you haven’t thrown a themed party for your Glam girls yet, you don’t know what you are missing! I am assuming that you don’t like when your relationship with your significant other is mundane, boring and routine do you? You look for ways to spice it up, right? Well why wouldn’t you do the same with your girl time?? Before you start with all of the reasons why you don’t do more, let me tell you, I’ve heard it all!

“I’m not creative.” “I don’t have time.” “I don’t want to deal with all the planning and designing.”

Blah blah blah….. That’s what A Glam Good Time is here for! Trust me, I KNOW what it’s like to be busy. Even as creative as I am, it’s hard to find the time to throw a party AND do everything else in life that we HAVE to do! So hiring me will not only make your next party easy and glam but I can guarantee that you will want me planning party after party for you thereafter! Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, a little more about me and my background…..

Happy International Women’s Day to the women who help me build the magic. 🥂✨

Behind every "A Glam Good Time" event is a circle of powerhouse women. This carousel is a tribute to my "good-good" girlfriends, the incredible pros I’ve had the honor of hiring, and the hands-on crew who have helped me turn wild ideas into reality.

Success is never a solo mission. It’s built on the support, talent, and late-night hustle of the women in these photos. I am so lucky to have a circle that inspires me to keep dreaming bigger.

Sometimes the vision requires a trip to the hardware store. 🛠️✨

I couldn't find the perfect natural bases for these centerpieces, so I built them myself using unfinished wood, wooden rods, and a power drill with heavy-duty lag screws. Once the "bones" were sturdy, I handed them over to my talented balloon girl to bring the "We Can Bearly Wait" magic to life! 🧸🎈

Get the Blueprint: Skip the guesswork! My We Can Bearly Wait Party Plan is available now in both Pink and Blue color schemes. It’s your step-by-step guide to bringing this exact vision to life.Link in bio to shop and grab the plan! ✨

When you can’t buy it at the party store, you head to the hardware store (and the Dollar Tree). 🏈✨

Building this field goal was the ultimate "vision vs. reality" win. I used PVC pipe and connectors from Home Depot for a sturdy base, yellow pool noodles from Dollar Tree for that iconic look, and a PVC tubing cutter to get everything sized perfectly. The end result? The perfect end-zone backdrop for a Game Day spread! 🌭🙌

If you have an open-concept layout, you know the struggle of trying to keep the kitchen "party ready" while you’re actually hosting.

I used a heavy-duty tension rod from Amazon, 6 sequin curtains, and 2 custom Parisian backdrops to completely transform the space! 🇫🇷✨

It’s the perfect way to keep your kitchen out of sight and the theme on point. Plus, it comes down in seconds!

The Details:
• Rod: Industrial-strength tension rod (Amazon)
• Curtains: 6 Sequin panels for that extra sparkle
• Theme: Custom Parisian backdrops

Save this for your next party mood board! 📌

Stop spending hundreds on Chiara wall rentals! 🛑💸

I made this one for under $30 using a 4x8ft sheet of insulation foam from Home Depot and some regular white wall paint.
It’s lightweight, easy to transport to parties, and looks as good as the expensive rented versions.

Perfect for your next birthday, baby shower, or backdrop setup! ✨

The Details:
• Material: 4x8ft Insulation Foam Board
• Tools: Utility knife (or jigsaw) + Paint roller
• Paint: Standard white wall paint (Satin or latex finish)

Would you believe this started as a piece of foam? 🤯

This is the ultimate party secret! 🤫 Save this post for your next event mood board so you don’t forget the Home Depot foam hack. 📌✨

Well, that escalated quickly. 😅

To the hundreds of you who joined the crew this week: Welcome! I’m Leigh, and I usually spend my time doing something event related whether it's through my full-time job as Events Director for a property management association or through my role as owner of A Glam Good Time, an event design company.

A few things you should know about me:

☕️ I love a good cup of coffee to start my day.

💡 I’m obsessed with thinking of party themes.

💌 I send out a weekly email updates to all of my email subscribers (aka my Glam Squad).

Sometimes command strips alone aren't enough and in a case like this, you can't grab the command strip removal tabs. I used my existing wall hooks to hang this custom foam board piece over my dessert table and at the end I simply lifted it away from wall!

💡 The Hack: Command strips with the hooks + picture wire on the back of the foam board.

Bonus: if you struggle with making your dessert table pop, you need my No-Flat Dessert Table Guide (it's free and link is in bio!)

Take it as a compliment when your friends ask "You made that?" during clean-up. 💅 Hand-cut foam board, a lot of balloons, and a little Galentine’s magic.
