RFTS had the pleasure of hosting a canvas paint event sponsored by NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo. We painted a lovely tropical landscape. We had a great time painting with this lively group of seniors.

The S.T.A.R.S. Community Center is proud to offer Safe@Home, a 90-minute safety program designed for students in Grades 4–6.

This engaging program helps children build the skills and confidence they need to handle everyday situations safely and responsibly.

🛡️ Students will learn about:
🏠 Home Safety — identifying potential dangers and preventing accidents
🩹 First Aid Basics — handling common injuries and knowing when to get help
🔥 Fire Safety — what to do in an emergency and how to prevent fires
👤 Personal Safety — building confidence and making safe choices
📞 Emergency Preparedness — knowing when and how to call for help

Giving children the knowledge to respond appropriately in an emergency can help them become more confident and independent at home.
