Same scene, different colors!🎨 For , our students are exploring warm and cool color palettes, painting one half of their landscape with blues and greens, and the other with reds, oranges, and yellows. A fun way to see how color choices can change the feel of a painting. Which half catches your eye first? 🏡💙

Some people were meant to be teachers, and Ms. Yaris is one of them💛

Ms. Yaris is a ceramics teacher at our Spring–Louetta Rd. Studio, and has been with us for 6 years! From our youngest ceramics students to the adults in her classes, camps, and workshops, she makes every artist feel cared for and supported. She gives so much of herself to her students, and it’s been wonderful to watch them grow in confidence and skill over the years.

Ms. Yaris is an amazing teacher and an incredible artist. We’re so lucky to have her at Cordovan Art School!

The last two weeks we worked hard to create our own sand dollars with air dry clay, then turned these creations into windchimes. The children had a wonderful time putting these together and we enjoyed watching their creativity bloom. Join us each week for public classes at the art cellar of Houston for age is six and up.
