It's been a little quiet on the creek but know we are grinding here at City Hall in preparation of what's sure to be the best holiday programming!

Our annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade is taking place on Wednesday, November 11 in downtown Houston.

Just a few weeks later, we roll right into the 77th Annual HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26 at 9 am, followed by Deck the Hall on Saturday, December 5 at Hermann Square Park. And please believe the entertainment lineup...for both events??? Chef's kiss.

Check out our socials in the coming weeks for ticket sale announcements, sneak peeks, and event details you won't want to miss. We cannot wait to celebrate the season with you!

The countdown is ON. See you soon!

Xo,
MOSE

From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities in Houston and across the nation.

Houston’s strength is rooted in the many cultures and communities that call our city home. This month, we honor the heritage, celebrate the traditions, and recognize the people whose contributions continue to help make Houston a vibrant and welcoming city.

This morning, we gathered in Lauren’s Garden at Market Square Park for a solemn and beautiful remembrance of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Mayor John Whitmire, Mr. Catuzzi, special guests, and members of the Houston community came together to honor Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas and the thousands of lives lost on that tragic day.

Through Lauren’s Garden, her memory continues to have a place in the heart of our city where Houstonians can pause, reflect, and remember the lives and stories behind September 11.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
