Apparently we’re bringing back having a life.

Dinner parties. Mahjong. Fresh flowers. Getting dressed. Long lunches. Handwritten notes. Porch sitting. Good china. Weekend escapes. Staying for dessert.

Basically…anything that requires us to put the phone down and actually enjoy ourselves.

Who’s in?

I’ve been playing solitaire with a deck of cards from this party a few years back. It remains one of our most favorite shindigs to date! Always, celebrate life to the fullest and make those memories - joy is what makes the world a better place ❤️❤️

When the sourcing list requires a road trip… you take the road trip.

A little treasure hunting, a little wandering, and a whole lot of “wait… look at this!”

This is one of our favorite parts of what we do: finding the unexpected pieces that make a space feel collected, personal, and completely yours.

Twenty-five years ago today. 🇺🇸🗽

I still remember exactly how that morning began.

I was in Los Angeles, asleep, when my mom called and woke my sister and me up - before our alarms had even gone off (I was very annoyed and wanted every second of sleep). We turned on the television and watched the news, completely stunned. My sister still went to class at USC and I was horrified for her. I was scared to death, even as far away as we were. We didn’t know if we were next.

Today, 25 years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger while everyone else was trying to get away. We honor the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage.

And we remember how we felt so incredibly united as a nation.

Where were you? What are your memories from that day?

Well, this is fun… 💃🏼

We are incredibly honored to have been nominated for BEST PARTY PLANNER in Swoon Memorial’s Best of Memorial 2026!

We’ve gotten to celebrate a LOT of you over the years and being nominated for by our Memorial community feels pretty special.

Voting is OPEN and runs through November 15th. If you’ve even let us help bring a party to life (or partied at one of our parties), we’d be so grateful for your vote. Link is in our bio!

And if you’re feeling generous, send this to the friend who always has a party on the calendar!

Custom everything for Ava! The last Mitzvah of the season had a lot of pressure on it….and we brought our “A” game for this family. Karen Ornsteen Johnson and I grew up with Ava’s uncle and have known the whole family for decades. We are proud to say we now call Stacey Lenig a dear friend and are plotting dinners and trips together. Swipe to feel the love!
