Friends, this has been two years' coming.
When I started making videos, I had no idea what I wanted to do or where I wanted to go with the skills I had. At the time, I was flying with the wind, for lack of a better phrase. I had no degree, no equipment, and no reputation as a freelance video producer.
It was at this time that I realized if I wanted to reach my goal of doing work that I wanted to do, I'd have to start making some choices. Getting a camera, putting myself out there, and getting my hands dirty. With your help, I did that.
Many years later, with a couple cameras and enough gear to call myself a "one-man band", I'm here ready to take the next step.
This week I formed my first LLC and am beginning the next stage of my life and career. For me this means that I'm making a firm decision on where I'm going in life. I want to keep using a camera, but I want to do it at a better level. I want to pursue work that fulfills me. And I want to build something bigger than me.
So it brings me great pride to announce my new website and company, Night Owl Filmworks LLC.
