This weekend at my 9 year oldโ€™s gymnastics meet there was a 41 year old lady competing against my daughter and her teammates. I was so inspired by this. No, Iโ€™m not going to start competing in gymnastics (my daughter wonโ€™t let me and I canโ€™t do a roll without getting dizzy.๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ) But, Like many other people I care WAY to much what others think about me. This lady went out there in a Leo, in front of hundreds of parents and competed with mostly 7-10 year olds. Why? Because she loves gymnastics and enjoys doing it with her daughter. And, because she can and she was good at it. She showed all the girls competing and all the fans that age is just a number.
If she would have let the care of what other people would think stop her, she wouldnโ€™t get to do what she loves. So this is my reminder to myself and everyone, just do it, do the thing you have been wanting to do but havenโ€™t. Who cares what other people will think. Most of the time they arenโ€™t thinking about you, and if they are maybe you will inspire them. Thatโ€™s all! Have a great day friends!

Warning sappy postโ€ฆ This should have been one of the more challenging weeks of my career. After avoiding it for 2 years Covid finally struck the FDD studio. I have 2 on staff designers and both tested positive this week. The task of designing 2 big weddings and being a delivery lead got put on Sarah Hughes]] . Her and I cranked some music, cracked some jokes, told stories and we did it yโ€™all, with time to spare! Done by noon on Friday ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. I owe Sarah Hughes]] something big. She stepped up, worked her tail off, even delivered a rehearsal so I could go to my kids gymnastics meet. ๐Ÿ˜ญ. We miss having Sarah Hughes]] on staff everyday but comforting to know she is always a panicked phone call away. โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Also to all our amazing delivery/breakdown help. Olivia, Kate, Katie, Laura, Marisol, Chaseโ€ฆ thank you for your hard work!

Thinking of and and hoping they are feeling back to normal soon.
