Executive Vice President | Head Chief Elf Wrangler | Professional Chaos Coordinator

With 23 years at Houston Event Planning, Katherine Cheng serves as Executive Vice President, designing and producing events with precision, creativity, and an impressive ability to keep 100 moving parts from colliding. She leads event design, oversees logistics, and works seamlessly with vendors, hotels, and venues, translating big ideas into flawless ex*****on.

Katherine is the mastermind behind detailed Run of Shows (ROS), BEOs, timelines, and production plans, ensuring everyone is in the right place, at the right time, with the right expectations. If it’s organized, it’s intentional. If it runs smoothly, she planned it. If it doesn’t… she already fixed it.

On any given day, she wears many hats: Event Strategist, Vendor Liaison, Hotel Whisperer, Operations Lead, and the person everyone looks at before saying, “Okay… that works.”

A true jack-of-all-trades, multitasking expert, and keeper of the event universe:

If it’s running smoothly, she already handled it.
If it’s complex, she already planned for it.
And if it’s unforgettable… she designed it. ✨

In her spare time, Katherine is also a published author, with books available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble because apparently running events wasn’t enough. When she’s really off duty, she moonlights as the official Labubu stylist to a collection of 100+ Labubus, ensuring they are properly dressed, curated, and absolutely thriving.

Meet our Associate Director, bringing over a decade of experience and a Master’s degree from USC. She leads AV and sound logistics, oversees corporate events and our casino department, and handles everything SEO. If it needs a power cord, a signal, or a strategy, she’s already two steps ahead—calm, precise, and always plugged in.

How would you describe your job in December other than surviving the madness
