🌹 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GOOD NEIGHBOR DAY! 🌹
Our hearts are FULL! ❤️
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Good Neighbor Day 2026 such a special day.
To our amazing community sponsors—your generosity made this event possible. Thank you for believing in this tradition and helping us spread kindness one rose at a time.
To our incredible volunteers—THANK YOU! From processing thousands of roses, printing and tying tags, sorting, bundling, organizing, loading, handing out roses, and all the little things in between…this day simply could not happen without you. 🌹
And to EVERYONE who picked up roses and participated—YOU are what Good Neighbor Day is all about. You took a simple rose and turned it into a smile, a hug, a surprise, a “thinking of you,” and sometimes exactly the little bit of kindness someone needed that day.
What started right here in our little community traveled farther than we could have imagined! ❤️
🌹 Roses were shared throughout our local communities…
🌹 They traveled to Springfield and surrounding areas…
🌹 And we heard about roses continuing to travel even farther beyond!
Just think about that—a rose handed out at D&L Florist & Gifts traveled miles down the road, changing hands and spreading kindness along the way.
That is what Good Neighbor Day is all about.
It isn't about receiving something in return. It's about taking a moment to make someone else feel remembered, appreciated, and loved.
This year's Good Neighbor Day was especially meaningful as we celebrated it in memory of Ms. Sharon Sillyman. ❤️ We know she would have loved seeing the smiling faces, the hugs, the laughter, and thousands of roses leaving our community to brighten someone else's day.
From all of us at D&L Florist & Gifts, thank you for showing once again what can happen when a community comes together with one simple goal:
BE KIND. GIVE FREELY. MAKE SOMEONE'S DAY. 🌹❤️
Until next Good Neighbor Day…keep spreading kindness!
With love & gratitude,
Lesa & the entire D&L Florist & Gifts Family 🌹
