Originally constructed in 1896, this Houston gem has been meticulously preserved, showcasing breathtaking architecture and a vibrant exterior. AvantGarden is set within a charming historical 1896 Krafthouse with lots of character. It's located in the Montrose/Midtown area, near Downtown Houston. We host a variety of successful events: corporate parties, birthday parties, live music shows, art even

ts, beautiful weddings and personalized, fun and low stress receptions. We host only one event per day, allowing us to fully devote our attention and services to the client to ensure the event is flawless. AvantGarden has 4 different areas:
The upstairs is where people usually mingle and dance to a DJ. Downstairs is where the main bar and lounge area are located. A front patio with a fountain, and a lovely covered back patio where the ceremonies take place. Our 3 fully stocked bars offer a wide selection of wines, homemade sangria, micro-brewed local beers and premium liquors, as well as tea, coffee bar, juice and soft drinks. You are allowed to bring in the catering of your choice,
however, we have a taco truck permanently on our property, it has been rated the best Mexican taco truck in Houston. Approximately 90% of our weddings hire them. As a special feature we have a Pompeii style wood burning pizza oven outdoors and our pizza chef can be hired for private events. The freshly baked pizzas are a hit at every wedding. For the last 16 years, AvantGarden has offered local and out of town couples a beautiful, unique, fun and authentic venue for their special day
