What’s up HTX!

It has been a while since we posted here for our Facebook community. We hope that you are all blessed and doing well.

We are still serving at Holler Brewing Co. 5 days a week and over at Axelrad every first and third Friday of the month. Follow us on Insta and Tiktok (), and Twitter () to keep up with our daily grind!

We are currently working on launching an online store where you will be able to purchase merch, salsa, pre-ordered party packs, and so much more.

Last thing, we are launching our umbrella company, Breezeway Hospitality, in April of 2023 and brining back Bombero Fest Summer 23.

🚒 I don’t gotta say much because y’all know what day it is. 😋 TORTA THURSDAY. Served on a toasted bolillo bun, with premium skirt steak, refried black beans, melted cheese, salsa verde, Bombero crema, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes. Dis what it looks like on the inside. Your welcome. 😛

🚒 Not gonna lie to y’all, this past week kicked my ass. There has been a lot of curveballs lately both business and personal.. but one thing that has helped me push through is our amazing team. Shoutout to .niner and Dave for doing such a great job and stepping up all the time. 🙏🏽

🚒 My number 1. Shoutout to abuelita for always being there for me. For being patient when I lived in her house. For teaching me how to make delicious food and how to serve others. For always going above and beyond for me. For loving me and all of our family so much. I hope that I can be more and more like her as I grow. Happy mother’s days to all the amazing mamis out there. It’s not easy doing what y’all do.. and I appreciate y’all so much. ❤️

🚒 What’s up y’all! Just wanted to check in and give y’all some updates! Recently I’ve been trying to get away from posting from a ‘personal perspective’ in an effort to establish the ‘Bombero’ brand.. but let’s be honest - we aren’t quite there. So I guess I can still keep things real for just a while longer. 😉
If you’ve followed us since the early days, thank you for continuing to support us. We are almost 4 years old. The pic above is from 2019 at for the .tx record release show.. when we used to do mostly concerts. 😢 Man does time just fly by or what? We miss concerts and are looking forward to being back outdoors at sooner than later. 💪🏽
If you’re new, welcome and thank you for supporting us 5 days a week at . We have been experiencing a lot of growing pains here lately. We are running out of storage space, short staffed, always busy (not an actual problem for me but it does create long wait times for you), and my mental and physical reserves are always close to empty. We are doing our best to learn and adapt though, and we are committed to always providing fresh delicious food and good service. Let’s keep this growth going! 🙏🏽
I really love doing this and am thankful everyday for the opportunity to serve all of you. We’ll see you later this week. 🚒

Last thing, just want to address some of our current blessing/struggles. First, we have been getting hella busy. Putting out 100 plates + a night with just a 42in grill and 2 person team. It can get hectic. We try our best to be fast and efficient while maintaining the quality and consistency we are known for. So please stay with us during long waits. If you gotta go or have an issue, take it out with me, not our cashiers. 🙏🏽 Second, we received some negative feedback via our Square posi system from a guest. This guest said our food was over priced lol. Let me remind y’all that skirt steak is now the second highest priced cut besides tenderloin. The trend and demand for fajitas has driven prices exponentially higher since we started this business. For scope (wholesale) in 2017 we were buying at 3.19/lb, on Saturday the current price was 5.99/lb. So, we are actually offering a discounted price then what you would pay at Pappasitos or Ninfas. We are just a small guy in this market, and no one is forcing you to buy from us, so keep it to yourself next time you feel like giving us a hard time about anything. 🚒

🚒 Hey y’all! We are growing fast and are looking for some friendly, experienced, and reliable people to join our team. We need help at the stand, behind the grill, and in the kitchen doing prep work. This is a part time opportunity with weekly pay outs including hourly wage and tip share. 📈
