Context matters.

The point was never that general ENTs don’t provide excellent care. The point is that in a city like Houston, patients have access to subspecialists who focus their practice on specific conditions.

For complex sinus and nasal problems, I believe patients should know all of the options available to them, including seeing a fellowship-trained rhinologist.

A short clip doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Disease in the sphenoid sinus shouldn’t automatically be ignored. 👀

It’s a complex area that requires experience to treat safely. If you’re still having symptoms and your CT shows disease, getting a second opinion from a sinus specialist may be worth considering.
