We had creative reign on the TSU backdrops this year and loved every moment! We wanted to bridge the gap of the amazing drape designs we have been doing for our lovely bride and grooms and showcase a snipit of it for their gala!

Our Story

It all started with her brother’s wedding. Lien had agreed to craft the flower arrangements for his big day. It went so well that she found herself preparing the weekly floral arrangement at their church for the next 12 years. Soon after, Lien committed herself to her career by pursuing classes taught by famed florist Frankie Shelton, AIFD, and became a certified Texas Floral Designer as well as a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers. She then launched her dream business, Prestige Events. It began as a small flower shop but soon evolved into a blossoming biz. Just a few years after opening, she added a linen department, lighting, prop rentals, drapery and much more. Prestige Events quickly became known as Houston’s premier one-stop-shop for upscale wedding needs.

Houston’s white-hot wedding industry has challenged Lien to keep up with the latest trends and techniques in floral and design as H-Town brides are always seeking to go above and beyond when it comes to their big day. Our ability to provide custom design props makes us a valuable asset to brides in search of exclusive looks and accessories. If a requested prop involves welding,framing, or woodwork, it can be done!

Lien’s close relationships with area vendors and intimate knowledge of the city’s venues allows her to facilitate the best and most effective ways to decorate and manage the wedding scenes she creates. Her ultimate goal is to make each bride and groom’s vision a reality, as well as provide unique concepts that create beautiful memories that last a lifetime!
