Loure Studios Houston wedding photographers capturing real moments, emotion, and timeless wedding stories. I ended up falling in love with the practice of portraiture.

My photographer origin story starts with going to school for theoretical mathematics. I met my wife at University and after graduation we decided to move out of the states and travel. It was on this global adventure through Africa and Europe where I would do street photography everyday which led us on many paths to meet many lifelong friends. Doing photography abroad opened many doors to me that w

ould have otherwise been closed and in doing so truly became my passion. from weddings to portrait shoots, photography remains the medium I choose to tell the stories of the people I meet.

Amanda appreciation post!

Meet Amanda. Co-founder of Loure Studios. The only reason any of this works. I’m the chaos. I show up to shoots with three lenses, two camera bodies, no plan, and somehow a drone. Amanda is the one who quietly fixes everything I broke before the client even notices. She’s basically the IT department, the project manager, and the therapist, all in one person who also happens to be a SUPERHERO mom. This woman bungee jumps for fun. BUNGEE JUMPS. And then comes home and makes sure her kids are fed, her clients are happy, and her business partner (me, the chaos) hasn’t accidentally double-booked a June wedding. Again. She doesn’t get enough credit because she’s too busy actually doing the work while I’m out here getting the glory of pointing cameras at beautiful people. So here it is, officially on the internet: Loure Studios runs because Amanda runs it. I just show up and trip over things artistically. We stan Amanda. Loure Studios stans Amanda. Houston weddings deserve Amanda. Happy Amanda Appreciation Day. I made it up. It’s today.
