Step by step⬇️

1. Gently squeeze the base of the carnation to soften it.
2. Carefully open the petals, just like shown in the video.
3. Remove a few petals from the center of the flower.

And voilà! 🌸 Your carnation now looks like a lisianthus.

The most common mistake people make⚠️

You receive a beautiful arrangement💐

Your first instinct is to find a vase, fill it with water, and place your flowers inside.

But you’re skipping the most important step‼️

Before your flowers ever touch the water...

✂️ Trim about 1 inch off each stem at a 45° angle.

Why?

Once flowers are out of water—even for a short time—the ends of the stems begin to seal, making it harder for them to absorb water.

A fresh cut helps them hydrate properly from the very beginning, keeping your bouquet fresher for longer.

While you’re at it:

✅Use a clean vase.

✅Remove any leaves below the waterline.

✅Change the water every 2–3 days.

✅Keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight and heat.

These simple steps take just a couple of minutes, but they can make a big difference in how long your flowers stay beautiful😮‍💨😍
