Most of the brides I service look for ways to save on money by doing DIYs…aka do it yourself projects.

Eli and Molly Freeman Dishman mastered the art of DIY floral arranging! 🌹

Thanks to YouTube videos, tons of commitment, and a few volunteers, their wedding had absolutely gorgeous florals for a fraction of the expected cost!
Way to go, Dishman’s!

My encouragement to every couple on a budget:
1. Splurge on a couple things that are important to you
2. DIY a couple things that are doable
3. If you’re not creative, hook up with a creative brain (creativity goes a long way when trying to save money)
4. Invest more in your marriage than your wedding—read books, do pre-marital  counseling, ask a strong couple to mentor y’all, start new traditions, grow in faith together, take an “unplugged honeymoon” (yep, no phones), etc…

It doesn’t matter how you choose to thank her or show her honor, but I encourage you to do so. Most Moms do a lot of behind the scenes work…the true unseen hero! 

Honestly, I cried my makeup off. It was absolutely heartwarming. 💕💕💕

Budget Brides: Do yourself a favor, and let go the idea of favors! 😜

Why: Many, many guests leave their favors behind. It’s not that they don’t appreciate them, there’s just a lot going on.

It makes me sad when brides see the pile of favors left behind. 🥹

Save your money and focus on other things. ❤️❤️❤️
When budgeting, you have to pick and choose what has the most impact.
