We really dont like coming to facebook or replying to the negative because it usually just feeds the fire. But we have to make a statement here at Lola LaBelle Bridal. There is a post circulating, random people that have never have even been into our store, leaving reviews on Google & making us seem like the bad guys. What this post & all these other people are failing to mention is that rental suits always come in the week of the even no matter where you rent from. Google it. Its policy for all rental suit companies. The only way to get it sooner is to pay for 2 rentals. We are obliged to follow the rental company as all of our rentals come from 3rd parties, not us. They are ordered as soon as the orders are placed but can arrive Tuesday-Wednesday before your weekend event just like every other rental company. We can make adjustments for next day delivery if need be. This is the normal, not something we are doing wrong. Also suits are to be returned at a certain time just as anything else you rent. Our employees inform verbally, its in a contract that everyone signs when doing a rental, & its also posted on the wall by the register. We do not hide this information & give it out to our customers as many ways as we can. Contracts state if the return is late, we have to keep deposit because the rental company is charging a late fee. Therefore we have no choice. This post that is circulating right now is false. And we are already taking legal action as we have all the proof & contracts. For customers to say "well we didnt read the contracts" isnt on us as a company, its a contract that is legally binded. Also yes the suit company sent us the wrong color, we did not order the wrong color, the paperwork matches what was picked. The company admitted to us they sent the wrong color. We got 2 more sent out. The one that was actually picked that it was supposed to be and another one similar to have as a back up and the bride would be able to pick. She took the one she originally picked and said it would be fine. If it would not have been we would have made it right. We also called the groom & informed him that if the suits were brought back before the scheduled pickup with ups, we would still refund money even though it was still late. The groom failed to communicate this to the bride. The bride called us screaming and yelling and did not give us a chance to tell her before hanging up on us. When she came into the store to return the items, she got mad that we didn't inform her. At the end of the day we informed them, we cannot control that they cannot communicate with each other. We did everything right from a business standpoint and have all of the paperwork and signage in our store letting our customers know how rentals work. We strive to give excellent service. We admit when we are wrong and make it right. Our real reviews even clarify that. All these fake reviews coming from a content creator are from people we have never even seen before just trying to ruin a small local owned business. And the sad part about all of it. The bride and groom are also local small business owners who are mad they lost money. But we are a business, we have to follow rules, we cannot have people failing to return items and not holding them responsible when a contract is in place. For all our real & loyal customers, they know how we do business and will always give 100%! We did not deserve to be yelled, screamed and cursed at multiple times, when we tried everything possible to return the deposit back to these customers.
(We were given permission to post the signed contracts by the sheriff's office, but we decided to be the better people in this situation, but here is a contract that hasn't been signed yet)
