Since the early 2000’s, singer/songwriter, and Shenandoah, Iowa, native Matt Cox has been writing songs, recording, and performing at venues all across the United States while developing his signature road-worn vocals, and guitar/harmonica style. With an original song catalog as vast as a stretch of highway across the plains, Cox blends the best traditions of classic-country, folk, rock, rhythm & blues. Now, residing in Omaha, Nebraska, Cox is a ten-time Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award winner, and member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since the start of his career, he’s had the pleasure of sharing the stage with dozens of well-known artists including Elizabeth Cook, Shovels & Rope, Drive-by Truckers, Langhorne Slim, Jason Boland, Chris Knight, Son Volt, Peter Case, Greg Brown, Micheal Hurley, Charlie Parr, Bill Kirchen, David Alan Coe, Willie Nelson, and more!
