Enjoying a slower pace this summer. Some of my earlier spring plantings are blooming, including these zinnias from Floret. There was a lot of excitement in the flower world over the release of these new varieties. I chose Alpenglow and they are very beautiful soft peaches and pinks💞

Not a lot is blooming right now but I have zinnias, cosmos, scabiosa, celosia, gomphrena, sunflowers and dahlias all planted and growing happily as we head into summer.

In the meanwhile I had a little play time this morning with the handful of things I gathered. If you have a shower, birthday, intimate wedding or other special occasion and you like this garden-gathered style, I’d love to talk with you💐

Today I got the last of the dahlias I ordered from Clara Joyce. They included some free seed packs and asked me to spread the kindness by sharing one. They are so generous and it was such a fun request that I thought “Let’s take it up a notch and give away some plants, too!” In addition to a seed pack, two winners will also get a seed starting tray and a rooted dahlia cutting! It will grow and produce tubers that you can save and multiply. It’s so fun. I can teach you how:)
