🥩 FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL AT THE VETERANS CAFÉ! 🍤The grills are heating up this Friday, May 29, 2026! The Veterans Café opens at 4:30 PM with an incredible dinner special you won't want to miss. We are serving up Steak and Kabob on the Barbie, plus your choice of a delicious crab patty or crispy fried shrimp, all served with sides!Enjoy your dinner inside, grab it to go, or eat outside under our pavilion while enjoying the AMVETS Post 103 Weekly Car, Truck & Bike Cruise starting at 5:00 PM. DJ Arnie Amber will be spinning the best oldies tunes all evening. Come out for a great meal, see some beautiful rides, and support our veterans. See you Friday night! 🍔🎶

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Patriotic Remembrance 🇺🇸

Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home and Sylvan Heights Cemetery will host the annual Memorial Day Patriotic Remembrance at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, located at 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401.

This meaningful tribute will honor the brave military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The VFW Post 8543 Band will begin the remembrance with patriotic music at 9:00 AM, followed by the Memorial Day Tribute at 10:00 AM.

The remembrance will be hosted by Stanley Angel, Army Veteran and Commander of George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103.

Chairs will be provided; however, guests are welcome to bring their own chair if they prefer. At the conclusion of the remembrance, hot dogs and drinks will be available.

Never Forgotten: Vietnam Vigil & Memorial Service 🇺🇸We invite the public, friends, and families to the Fayette County Vietnam Memorial (in front of Hopwood's AMVETS Post 103) to honor our Vietnam War veterans. Come pay your respects during the 8:00 PM candlelight service, take part in the 15-minute interval standing vigil, or attend the closing ceremony on Saturday at 12:00 PM with speaker Jim Swollen. A heartfelt invitation is extended to the loved ones of Fayette County's 49 fallen and 1 MIA to light a candle in their memory. Join us to ensure these soldiers are never forgotten.

Cruise on over to AMVETS Post 103! 🚗💨We are so excited to kick off the 2026 Friday Night Car Cruise season on May 8th! Join us for a night of beautiful classic cars, great music, and community spirit as we honor our veterans. Make sure to stop by the Veterans Café—Tom will be firing up the grill starting May 15th with all your favorite BBQ classics. It’s going to be a fantastic spring and summer full of Friday night fun, and we can’t wait to see you there! 🇺🇸🍔
