-Members must pre-register to perform
-7 - 8 pm: Each performer will have a 15-minute slot, maximum of 1 spot per performer/group.
-8:15 - 9 pm: Local musician Jillian Rae will finish the evening out!

Cash bar, Coffee and concessions available for purchase
Suggested $5 donation at the door. Open mic performers - free admission.

JILLIAN RAE is a powerhouse indie musical artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lauded as a “triple threat on vocals, fiddle and composition” (Star Tribune), Rae is a fiercely unique spirit who cares more about making authentic music than about conforming to expectations. After getting her start as a side-woman in a plethora of folk and americana bands— including Steve Kaul and the Brass Kings, Brian Just Band, Adam Levy (of The Honeydogs), the Killer Hayseeds, and Duluth-based Two Many Banjos— Rae broke out on her own with her debut solo record Heartbeat in 2013, and since then has become a prolific performer and local favorite.

Currently on view at The Depot through May 15. In her small scale, delicately treated drawings, Hopkins Center for the Arts Member Artist Jane Meyer shares visual stories in which the scenery becomes the main characters. In human environments devoid of people she finds quiet, fleeting, subtle, familiar, and wistful moments. She believes 'Every scene has something that can inspire wonder. There’s something in every nothing. There is fullness in the empty.'
