It’s a wedding week over here at G&T and we can’t wait to see all the plans come together in Eutaw, AL! This year is a crazy one across the board in the wedding industry. As a vendor we know how overwhelming it can be to be flooded with inquiries for new clients as you’re juggling current clients (uh hello—there are 2 of us and we still have things fall through the cracks on occasion).

If you’re a wedding vendor, lean in! We have gotten so much feedback from brides recently about how stressful it is when vendors don’t communicate back to them in an efficient and professional manner. As wedding professionals we 100% support the bride and groom and that means our communication—or lack thereof—shouldn’t add stress to an already stressful season of life + a competitive wedding industry. It’s a high standard to hold yourself to, but a reputation for good communication is proving to go a long way with potential (and current) clients! Bottom line—we are all on the same team and we want all our vendor friends to be successful and all our brides to stress as little as possible.

It’s *finally* wedding week for Cathy and Ja Yee! This is a record breaking wedding for us as the longest contract we’ve ever held. When Cathy and Ja Yee booked us we were freshly pregnant, and now those babies are over a year old. It feels like a different lifetime and also the blink of an eye. Don’t worry, y’all won’t be rid of us after wedding day because we have come to cherish y’all as not just clients, but friends!

It’s almost G&Ts fifth birthday! In these five years there’s no telling how many meetings we have gone to. The first picture is from a branding session we did with what feels like forever ago. The second picture is……usually what we look like headed to meetings. In our five years we have discovered there are a few things that make our work life a whole lot easier! We may be preparing to do a giveaway of some of those items.

Groomsmen are always such a fun part of wedding days—They really bring the party and we always leave the day with a new and fun story! From hemming pants to running to Mr Burch to switch out shoe sizes we usually end up spending some quality time with these guys on wedding days and they so always such good sports!

We are looking at a weekend of rest the way these two love birds are looking at each other 🤩🤩

Between the two of us and the last 3 weeks we have had 4 immediate family members in quarantine—including a couple of 3 year olds that were home from school! We are so thankful for the work we have to do and also so thankful for weekends of rest and restoration!
