Before every session, I ask a simple question: what do you want to remember about this season of life? This sweet family answered: “We’re in the thick of raising little people who are finally starting to be not as little. I want to look back on these photos and see us loving each other and enjoying each other and being silly together.” Looking back at these, I feel like we accomplished that.❤️ Every family and answer is different. And that’s kind of the point. When you know what matters to you, it shifts everything. What we focus on, how the session feels.

I’ve been thinking about this session a lot
and how it didn’t need to be anything more than what it was just two people showing up as they are
and how that’s always enough ❤️ We showed up to almost 20mph winds but Sonali + Jess just leaned into it and it turned into something really special
the mix of film + digital from this session has been some of my favorite work lately ❤️ In the middle of everything going on in the world I feel endlessly grateful to be trusted with people’s stories and milestones 😭

Women are magic 💖
I meant to post this on International Women’s Day but… c’est la vie 😅

This shoot for .gems was nothing short of magic with the incredible . I feel so lucky to create alongside such talented women. There’s something really powerful about women coming together to support each other’s visions and bring beautiful things into the world.

Over 80% of my commercial work has been with women-owned small businesses, and honestly those collaborations are some of my absolute favorites. Women supporting women isn’t just a cute phrase, it’s how we build community, share opportunities, and help each other grow.

One more sunset before baby arrives. 🌊
This sweet family visited from Canada, and I was lucky enough to photograph this season for them while on the Island of Hawaiʻi. ❤️
My husband and I fell in love with the Big Island when we visited over Christmas, so it felt extra special that this session happened on the very first day of our trip, truly the best way to start it!
I’m Oʻahu based, but I love traveling for sessions and have photographed families on Maui and Hawaiʻi Island. Kauaʻi is on my bucket list this year! 🤞

I’ve been deep in my editing cave for weeks, but I’m finally almost caught up and this sunrise beauty needed to be shared. 🥹✨
Thank you to every single person who booked with me this year. ❤️ Truly. It’s been my busiest season yet full of lessons, new boundaries, and a lot of growth as both an artist and a human. I’ve learned so much about my limits, my workflow, and the kind of presence I want to bring into every session.
I’m also really excited for some changes coming next year. small shifts that will bring more balance, better flow, and more room to create with intention.
I’m endlessly grateful you’re here, supporting me, trusting me, and walking through this journey with me. ❤️

Some days still feel like stories you want to step back into… ✨
I only take on two-three a year weddings, I’m so grateful this one found its way to me. It is one that will stay with me for a long, long time. 💖
It’s been over a year, and I’m still in awe of the artistry this couple poured into their day a world they created together and invited us all into.

This family chose to celebrate a quinceañera a little differently by taking a trip to Oʻahu together. 🌺 I love that each family had their own moment to shine, and of course, we made sure to capture the birthday girl in all her radiance. ✨ Such a beautiful way to mark this milestone, and now they’ll get to carry this trip with them forever the best kind of souvenir, photos filled with love and memory. 🫶

These photos remind me how beautiful change can be. I can’t believe it but my niece, still just a little bump here, is now nearly two. 🤯 Fall has always been my favorite season, with its quiet lessons on new beginnings and transformation. There’s something about the crisp air, the shifting colors, and the stillness of the season that makes me slow down and pay attention.
Living in Hawaii has its own kind of magic, but the one thing I haven’t quite gotten used to is the absence of fall. I’m so excited to step back into the golden leaves and cool air of Utah next month to capture love, family, and the fleeting beauty of change. ✨
I only have one more spot open for sessions while I’m in Utah (and could maybe be persuaded to take one more 😉). If fall photos have been calling to you, now is the time. 🫶
