The Made In Hawaii Festival Festival began in 1995 as a vision of Maui Representative David Morihara with a desire to uplift local businesses during challenging economic times. His idea was to create a multi-day event featuring only Hawaii-made products—giving local vendors a platform to grow, connect, and thrive. This vision was brought to life by the Hawaii Food Industry Association!

From the start, this festival has celebrated Hawaii's homegrown talent—providing a platform for artisans, food producers, and makers to thrive. What started as an effort to grow our economy has become a beloved statewide tradition that continues to empower and inspire! 🌈
