In shock and heartbroken to learn of the passing of Brett Wolverton. This is a loss felt all across the wrestling scene in the Carolinas and well beyond.

Brett was a genuinely nice guy, who had a big passion for professional wrestling. I last spoke to him when my daughter and I went to Smackdown in Greenville last year.

Lifting his family, friends and colleagues up in my thoughts and prayers. 🥺🙏

Right? I'm actually trying to put together my first show. I want to bring some guys and gals to my little town of Honea Path so when they do make it, I can say they were HERE back when!

Been seeing this graphic shared by quite a few familiar faces across social media over the past few days.

I'd say I don't want "Uncle Hunter" to raid the cookie jar that is independent pro wrestling in the Carolinas but this is also why I tell people go see these talents now because tickets at the next level are much more expensive.

Did you know?

Back in the Early to mid-1980's, NWA/Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling ran shows in Honea Path as a fundraiser for BHP Booster Club.

Legendary names from Jimmy Valliant and Superstar Billy Graham to Dick Slater and Ivan Koloff... even members of the famed Four Horseman, Arn Anderson and J.J. Dillon... All have worked shows in Honea Path!

We're proud to be bringing the fun and excitement of professional wrestling back to Honea Path!
