I’ve had several people reach out to me about Valentine’s Day so I thought I’d make a post.
I want to first and foremost say that I absolutely appreciate everyone who has supported me throughout the years. I cannot even begin to describe the joy it brings me that y’all have stuck it out with me.
Customer service/satisfaction is my main priority. When I started this business, I did so much research on how to ensure people were getting what they paid for. Looking up how to make the arrangements last the longest. It was super important to me.
Valentine’s Day is the largest money making holiday for florists all over the country. The problem is, the quality of flowers we receive are less than great and I strive daily for greatness. I can’t justify sending out expensive arrangements that I know are going to die in a day or two. Over the years, I have continually been disappointed by the quality of flowers I’ve received (I’ve tried multiple sources) at Valentine’s Day and I refuse to subject the people I care about to higher prices for less quality.
So I made the tough decision to sit this one out. This doesn’t mean I’m out of the game or anything like that. I’m just choosing to put the quality I strive for over making a few bucks. Retaining my customers and providing quality is way more important that profiting from you.
I hope by doing this, I don’t upset anyone. It truly is not my intention to do so. I just feel that I’ve made it this far by being transparent and honest and I’m going to continue on that path.
With all that said, I will have a small amount of arrangements on hand for those of you who read this and don’t care about quality and just want to purchase something or support me anyway.
I love every one of you and I hope you have a fantastic Valentine’s Day!
Ps. For anyone wanting Valentine boxes for your kiddos, Fonda has several options available at the shop and they’re super cute!
