Rain or shine, Nicole & Zach’s wedding day was full of so much love. 💙

Even though the rain had the bridal party completely soaked at one point, they handled it like champs and made the absolute best of the day. Honestly, sometimes those unexpected moments end up becoming the memories everyone talks about the most.

Their dusty blue and white color palette looked so elegant throughout the space, especially paired with all the candlelight, florals, and decor details. Our team had the honor of decorating for the wedding, and almost everything used throughout the day came right from our decor collection, which made it so fun seeing the whole vision come together.

One of my favorite parts though was the ceremony itself. There were a few funny little moments that had everyone laughing, and those are honestly the moments that make weddings feel real, personal, and unforgettable. 🥹

Jenna & Tyler’s wedding day was the perfect mix of classy, elegant, and timeless. 🖤

Their black, silver, and white color palette looked absolutely stunning in the space. From the bridal party dressed in black and candlelit tables to the greenery, white florals, black charger settings, and all the little details, everything came together beautifully.

Our staff had so much fun bringing this vision to life, and almost all of the decor used throughout the day came right from our decor collection. We also had the honor of coordinating the wedding day, which always makes it extra special getting to see everything come together from start to finish.

Most importantly though, the entire day was filled with so much love, happiness, and beautiful memories for an amazing couple. 5.16.2026🤍

4 years ago today, we got the keys to this beautiful old church and started a journey we never could have fully imagined. ♥️

Since then, The Hidden Abbey has been filled with weddings, showers, parties, fundraisers, community events, happy tears, dancing, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories.

We’ve poured our hearts into updating and transforming this space while still keeping the character and charm that made us fall in love with it in the first place. It’s honestly hard to believe how much has changed in 4 years.

To every couple, family, friend, vendor, employee, and supporter who has walked through our doors, thank you. You’ve helped turn this building into something so much bigger than just a venue. You helped create a place full of memories and meaning.

We still have so many ideas and dreams for what’s ahead, and we’re incredibly grateful to continue this journey with all of you.

Happy 4 years to The Hidden Abbey. 🥂

One of the biggest misconceptions in wedding planning is that saving money means sacrificing the experience and that’s simply not true. ♥️

The weddings that feel the most meaningful aren’t the ones with the most decor or the biggest budgets. They’re the ones that are intentional. Choosing a venue that already offers decor, focusing on the spaces guests actually see, and mixing in your own personal touches can make a huge difference without adding stress or extra costs.

We see it all the time. Couples use what’s already available, prioritize lighting and layout, and walk away with a day that feels full, beautiful, and completely them.

If you’re planning your wedding and trying to stay mindful of your budget, save this post and come back to it when things start feeling overwhelming. Smart planning doesn’t take away from the experience…it enhances it!

2025 was a year full of love, growth, and unforgettable moments here at The Hidden Abbey. From weddings and showers to community events and all the little details in between, every weekend was filled with people we are so grateful to serve.

This year brought new updates to our space, beautiful celebrations, and so many memories made with couples, families, vendors, and our community. Watching our venue be part of life’s biggest moments never gets old.

Thank you to everyone who trusted us with your special days, supported our small business, and helped make 2025 such an incredible year. We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings. ♥️
