Celebrating the day of marriage for all couples on the CA side of Tahoe. Elopements, weddings, and ceremonies. I have lived on Tahoe's West Shore since 1988.

I also take care of your CA marriage license, and help with planning elopements. I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place that allows me to do something I love. I've had many jobs, all in the people business. I started working in a flower shop and after a few months I realized there are a lot of weddings in Tahoe. I thought to myself, What a wonderful job, celebrating marriage? I found out w

hat it took to marry people and I started in May of 1998. I was ordained by the Universal Life Church, which believes we are all one, no matter what religion, you or I may be, we all must live in this world together. As a marriage officiant I am excited to be a part of bringing people together. I believe marriage is the ultimate commitment that two people make when they share the same goals, ideas, values, and most importantly love. I also believe the wedding ceremony is one time you have to declare your feelings, promises, and dreams in front of your loved ones. I know marriage is worth celebrating. I also know that the pre-celebration can be a little stressful and that is where I realized my calling. Creating ceremonies & celebrating the day of marriage. Becoming a marriage officiant has blessed my life in so many ways. With my many years of experience I have brought hundred's of couple's together, and with that experience I have been able to accomplish keeping the ceremony stress free.

🌅 Sunrise Ceremony at Emerald Bay 🌅⁠

I love starting my day at Emerald Bay. Bucky and Ale reached out in early June and we put together the sweetest sunrise ceremony. After eloping, they went to breakfast and then went kayaking to enjoy one of their favorite places in the world as newlyweds. 🥰⁠

Holly and Ivan eloped to Tahoe as this was one of their favorite locations on a cross-country road trip. Their families came out for the celebration and stayed in short-term rentals. They married in Blackwood Canyon on a hot but gorgeous day and the ceremony was just what they wanted.⁠ Big congratulations to this sweet couple! 💞 💫

Casey reached out to me a week out from a weekend that he and Candice were going to be in Tahoe for a little getaway. 💓 When Casey showed Candice my website, she said “Oh, that’s our neighbors in that photo!” Turns out I was the officiant for their neighbors 6 years ago. 🥰

I suggested they stay at the new evo _hotel in Tahoe City as it's walking distance to everything in town and wasn't far from the ceremony spot. 🤫They drove up Friday evening, enjoyed sleeping in, and then enjoyed the day in Tahoe City before we met up in the evening for a sunset ceremony at my secret ceremony spot. 🌅 We clicked immediately and were a little nervous, so we did a pre-wedding photoshoot before we went into the woods. I took photos on their phone which I’m always glad to do. 📷️

We had a small ceremony in the woods. 🌲💞🌲 It was one of those “Tahoe sundress” nights where it was warm enough to wear a sundress all evening and it was absolutely lovely. They mentioned they may bring their kids back to renew their vows. 💫

Tennessee ➡️ Lake Tahoe 👨🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽

These two were previously living in the Bay Area and they love the mountains and the forest, so Lake Tahoe was the obvious choice for them to say "I do!" ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜

Since they had already purchased a marriage license before reaching out to me, they needed a witness, so I called a friend to be their witness and she also took some photos for them. 📷️ We chose a ceremony site that had the best of both worlds: a forest setting overlooking the lake with the mountains as a backdrop. 🌄

Although we love all the fun summer events around the lake and in Homewood, our tiny parking lot is only for our VIP couples getting hitched! Again, thanks to Mick of Signs of Tahoe for setting us up with all the signs we need -- and to my man, John, for helping me get everything ready to open! 🙏🏼

These two reached out at about 3:00pm on Sunday afternoon wanting to elope. 💍 🥳 They were traveling from Salt Lake City, on their way to San Francisco, and planning on staying one night in Reno and Tahoe. They didn't want to do the cheesy Reno elopement, so they reached out to me. 🙋🏼‍♀️ They didn't have any wedding attire, but are into vintage things -- and given they were already in Reno, I suggested they go to to find some treasures. 😍 They ended up finding a dress for her, a shirt for him, and rings for their elopement! 💫The following evening I suggested they stay at , which they absolutely loved.

For their ceremony, I took them to one of my secret spots and we had a beautiful ceremony overlooking the lake. 🌅 🥰 Being snowboarders, they loved the views of the different ski areas from the mountain tops. They said they couldn’t have imagined a better elopement even if they had planned for months! 🙏🏼 I was able to help plan, create their custom ceremony, and issue their marriage license in an afternoon. 🎉

Thank you to Mick from Signs of Tahoe for creating our sign for the new chapel! Now it's a matter of getting it hung properly on the brick wall out front. 🙃 We're days away from officially opening! 🎉

Martin and Kay decided to have their ceremony at Donner Lake on the pier of their . 🌅 They were married to each other before and realized once again that they're truly meant to be. So, they did their ceremony their way with an intimate celebration on Friday, June 13th, as the 13th is a lucky day in Scotland where they're heading for their honeymoon! ✈️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 💞

David and Yesenia have been together almost 15 years and decided to come to Tahoe to elope. ⛰️ 💫

They’re both very busy and wanted to celebrate just the two of them as they start their next chapter of becoming husband and wife. 💍 After their ceremony, they went to a local Brewfest to enjoy some beer -- and then headed to the to celebrate their wedding night. 💞

They had the best of both worlds: an easy-going South Lake Tahoe ceremony and casual Brewfest, followed by the luxury of the Ritz. 🌲🏨🌲Looking forward to the pro photos by . 📷️

My Story
