Hi. Thank you for supporting us on Mother's Day! it was a huge success. we are now in the flower doldrums of June waiting for blooms. We've been planting more and more perennials to help fill the flower void between Mother's Day and the Fourth of July. We also have planted lots of dwarf sunflowers which are almost ready for bouquets. It's been busy around here, planting seedlings, (can't wait for some new cool sunflower varieties), seeding, weeding, more seeding (I had a bad batch of field sunflower seeds which set me back 2 weeks or so), compost spreading, more weeding. As a friendly reminder we are a working farm and are not set up to allow the public access to the flower fields. Insured professional photographers are welcome by appointment. Thank you for understanding. Believe me after all the hard work that goes into growing the flowers and maintaining them I would like nothing more than to show off and give tours! Maybe someday. Thanks. Flowers are on their way!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for buying locally grown, fresh flowers and supporting the local farms. We hope you enjoyed your flowers!
We'll have a few flowers available during the week. Then it will be a couple of weeks till we have peony and lilac bouquets. Thousands of sunflowers have been planted and if Mother Nature is nice we should have blooms by the end of June. Thanks again for your support!

Happy Mother's Day! I am pleased to report we have a beautiful crop of tulips this year. Bunches are available today and throughout next week. Mason jar bouquets too if the damn wind stops blowing. The flower cart is cash only. This makes for contactless purchases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Credit card purchases will be available later this Spring. Thanks for all your support and supporting local farms and businesses!

Happy Mother's Day!
Due to the cold, wet Spring and a fungus which infected our tulip beds (over 2000 Tulips) we will not be able to provide fresh flowers this weekend. We're optimistic it will eventually warm up and we'll have fresh, local bouquets soon!!. Thanks for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience. As a local, sustainable farm we appreciate your support.

It's raining..imagine that!.....aarrgh. I should be growing rainflowers instead of sunflowers. The wet and cool temps have really put us behind schedule. I've had to turn down 3 late June weddings, which is very discouraging. If we can get some sun and warm temps then we should have a very colorful season. I'm growing about 12 different varieties of sunflowers, zinnias, amaranth, lisianthus, marigolds, cosmos, snapdragons, broom corn, celosia, as well as peonies, hydrangea, all kinds of green fillers and whatever wildflowers I manage to forage from around the farm and surrounding woods. I'll be updating and paying more attention to the page so keep posted. In the mean time checkout our Instagram page for almost daily posts of life and work around the farm. Thanks, Lou
