It's raining..imagine that!.....aarrgh. I should be growing rainflowers instead of sunflowers. The wet and cool temps have really put us behind schedule. I've had to turn down 3 late June weddings, which is very discouraging. If we can get some sun and warm temps then we should have a very colorful season. I'm growing about 12 different varieties of sunflowers, zinnias, amaranth, lisianthus, marigolds, cosmos, snapdragons, broom corn, celosia, as well as peonies, hydrangea, all kinds of green fillers and whatever wildflowers I manage to forage from around the farm and surrounding woods.
