We are thrilled to introduce James C. Harris, who will portray **Arthur Stern**, Henry's father, in *We'll Meet Again*.

James is a multifaceted singer and actor based in New York City whose impressive career spans Off-Broadway, regional theater, opera, and concert stages across the country.

Audiences may recognize him from previous Axelrod Performing Arts Center productions including *Sunday in the Park with George* and *Fiddler on the Roof*. His New York credits include the critically acclaimed *An American Soldier*—part of the production that recently received a 2026 GRAMMY Award nomination—as well as Audrey: The New Musical, Secret of the Possible, and Will Wilson Saves the World.

His remarkable performance career also includes productions of Songs for a New World, All Is Calm, Tosca, La bohème, and Oedipus Rex.

Herndon Lackey as Henry Stern
A five-decade Broadway veteran, Herndon's distinguished career includes performances in *Les Misérables*, *Parade*, *LoveMusik*, *Inherit the Wind*, *Kiss of the Spider Woman*, *The Mystery of Edwin Drood*, and *Camelot*.

Adam B. Shapiro as Uncle Julius
Adam has appeared Off-Broadway in *Death of a Salesman*, *The Mikado*, *Bastard Jones*, and *Wikimusical*. Since 2008, he has been a beloved fixture of the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, appearing in *The Golden Bride*, *The Megille of Itsik Manger*, *Gimpel the Fool*, and the award-winning *Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish*.

Joy Hermalyn as Granny
A celebrated Broadway performer whose credits include *Fiddler on the Roof*, *Caroline, or Change*, and *Candide*, Joy brings warmth, wisdom, and heart to one of the musical's most beloved characters.

Adam B. Shaprio Joins the Cast of We'll Meet Again!

Adam has been seen Off-Broadway in Death of a Salesman, The Mikado, Bastard Jones, Wikimusical, and since 2008, he has been a fixture of the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, in The Golden Bride, The Megille of Itsik Manger, Gimpel the Fool, and most especially, the Drama-Desk and Outer Critics Award winning Fiddler On The Roof in Yiddish, in which he played The Rabbi and understudied Tevye and Lazer Wolf.

Film/TV credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, 30 Rock, Master of None, FBI Most Wanted, and HBO’s Emmy-winning film The Normal Heart, among others.
