I just discovered the Martha Stewart channel on Samsung TV - I used to watch her show daily!

She was making a spinach cream soup (which of course looked amazing) and started with a velouté which is a combination of a roux (butter + flour) and a white stock (chicken in this case).
On another note, a béchamel sauce is made from a roux + milk.

Did you know violets are edible? They are everywhere right now.
The leaves can be used in a delicate salad with a vinaigrette.
The flowers can be used to make a tincture or a syrup for lemonade.
My yard is wild and it will always be home to leaves, twigs, wild flowers (which include dandelions!) and animals.

So while there are 6 boxes, they all lay in 1-2. Go figure. 🐓

The fresher the egg, the more the acidity the egg white has which allows it to stick better to the shell.
