Calling all puppy lovers! The Wake County shelter is full. Thinking about a furry friend?! Give these babies a chance! 🐶✨
The Wake County Animal Center is full and is asking residents for help. A spokesperson for the shelter said there is no more room for dogs, and euthanasia might be necessary in order to make space.

It was brought to my attention today, that all of you who are American Airlines frequent fliers may have hundreds of thousands of miles expiring in April.
Let’s not let those miles go to waste. If you have enough miles to provide at least a ticket for one person that are expiring in April or you would just like to donate miles to sponsor flights to fly families to safety, please message me MG Guerra As of right now I am in communication with several families who are in dire need of a flight.

Did you hear the news?!? There was a BIG announcement today regarding gathering limits + mask wearing!!! We are so excited to see more and more of our community getting vaccinated and getting back to the things they love!
North Carolina has removed its indoor mask mandate for most settings and lifted all mass gathering and social distancing limits. This step forward is effective immediately and follows yesterday's guidance from the CDC.

State regulations limiting the number of people in large gatherings are being eased just as wedding season kicks into high gear.
Did you hear the news?!? 🥳🥳🥳
Mass gatherings can open up to 200 guests outdoors starting TOMORROW. Indoor celebrations can open up to 100 guests. Some venues can continue to operate at 50% capacity with a maximum of 250 guests. This is amazing news! We were not expecting to get this clearance until much later in the summer, so this wedding planner is over the moon excited that we are moving faster than expected. So what’s next?!
Once North Carolina reaches a vaccination rate of 2/3 of the population receiving at least one shot, NC will lift the mask mandate. That means no more masks at weddings y’all! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 But in order for this to happen, we’ve got some major work to do: GET YOUR PEOPLE VACCINATED.
If you are a couple getting married in 2021 and you do not want masks in your wedding photos, let’s work together to get our vaccination rates up. 💪🏻
Please consider getting vaccinated. Then encourage your loved ones to get vaccinated. Share your shot selfies. Tell your story to help others who may be scared. Let’s work together to put postponements in the past and protect our community to beat this virus! 💪🏻👩🏻🔬🦠✨

We delivered our first bouquet of 2021 yesterday and it was so wonderful to see our sweet bride ✨in person✨ for her portrait session! Celebrating with our couples and their families is the most joyful feeling and we are so grateful to be getting back to gathering! 🤍
This weekend, a popular local venue turned away a couple and claimed they couldn’t host their wedding due to religious beliefs.
Then, a popular local news station picked up the story and shared it on their page. From there, the larger local community shared their thoughts and opinions on what had occurred. Reading through these comments y’all... My heart hurts. 💔
While I realize this is something that occurs too often, I’m still always at a loss as to how anyone could feel their religion allows them to “approve” of another person. That is not FAITH, that is DISCRIMINATION.
Here’s the thing: As upsetting as this weekends events were, they are not uncommon. In the role as planners, we have witnessed this type of bigotry too often. Not to mention, our very own NC Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson is openly discriminatory and has self proclaimed that he is proud of his beliefs. Representation matters and should reflect the views of our community. (No hate in our state!!!) Part of my job as a planner is to advocate for our couples. Why would that stop at planning their wedding details? This isn’t a political stance- it’s about the treatment of our fellow humans. Wrong is wrong.
This weekend was a reminder of the damaging hate that remains prevalent and the work there is still to be done. If you are feeling hurt, excluded or uncertain today, know this: There are so many wonderful, talented, incredible & INCLUSIVE wedding professionals in this area. We celebrate big, we know y’all means all and we love, LOVE. Be proud of who you are and know you are loved. Our community is kind & strong and all are welcome here.
