I just HAVE to show you what came in today. 🌸

The dahlias are here. And they are absolutely incredible.

You know those flowers you walk past… and then immediately turn around because you need another look?

These are those flowers.

Deep, dramatic reds. Juicy raspberry pinks. Soft blush and creamy peach. Buttery yellows. And those unbelievable yellow-and-coral dahlias that look like someone hand-painted every single petal.

And the texture… oh my goodness.

Layers and layers and layers of petals. Some perfectly rounded and almost geometric.Others loose, ruffled and a little wild. Tiny green buds tucked between the blooms, just waiting for their turn to open.

If you were standing here with me right now, you’d want to reach out and touch them.

And then there’s that smell when you walk past them—the cool, fresh scent of cut stems and greenery. That subtle, earthy, straight-from-the-garden smell that instantly makes everything feel a little more alive.

These aren't flowers that feel ordinary.

They feel like summer showing off.

And here's the thing about dahlias…

This is their moment.They're fresh. They're local. They're in season RIGHT NOW. And this gorgeous little window doesn't last forever.

Just imagine a bunch sitting on your kitchen table tonight.

I’m not going to tell you to buy flowers.

I’m just going to show you what came in today. 🌻

Because if you were standing here with me, looking into the cooler right now, this is the arrangement I’d point to and say, “Okay… look at THIS.”

The sunflowers are almost ridiculously yellow—the kind of warm, saturated golden color that makes everything around them feel brighter. One has that deep chocolate center, another is soft creamy yellow, and that big bloom in front is pure sunshine.

Then there’s all that texture. Tiny white flowers tucked between glossy greens. Wispy stems spilling out around the edges. Those tall, fresh green bells reaching up through the arrangement and giving it that loose, just-gathered-from-the-garden feeling.

And when you walk past it, there’s that subtle fresh-flower smell. Green stems. Foliage. That clean, earthy scent that makes you stop for half a second and look again.

It doesn’t feel overly designed or fussy.

It feels like August found a vase.

And I know I said I wasn’t going to tell you to buy flowers…

…but imagine walking into your kitchen tonight and seeing this on the table.

Tomorrow morning, it’s still there.

Coffee in your hand. Sunflowers on the counter. Your house suddenly feels a little happier for absolutely no practical reason.

These came in today. They’re fresh, they’re gorgeous, and this exact little moment of summer doesn’t stick around forever.

That’s all I’m saying. 🌻💛
