AUGUST WRAPPED 🖤
August was pretty much exactly what you’d expect from us at this point.
Work. Work. And more work.💪
The biggest project this month has been the floors, and by biggest, I mean FLOORS EVERYWHERE. We have been chipping away at flooring projects throughout this entire building, one section at a time, and there is still plenty left to do.
We’ve been deep in the bathrooms, too.
Making decisions. Making messes. Making progress.
We’ve been working on The Hall and getting those back windows repaired, thanks to another small local business B&B Glass jumping in and helping us bring a little more of this old building back to life.
And while we’re working on those windows, we’re also impatiently waiting for the new front windows for the Big Ballroom to arrive. 🪟
The courtyard is coming along with the help of A&A Excavation and Septic
The bathrooms are coming together.
The floors are slowly becoming floors again. 😂
And behind the scenes, there has been an absurd amount of website, package, planning and “okay, now how the hell are we going to make this work?” happening, too.
And now here we are.
August 31.
Still working.
Still figuring things out.
Still taking every little chunk of time we have and putting it toward one more project, one more room, one more piece of The Matchbook. August, you were a hell of a month.
Now let’s see what September has up its sleeve. 🖤
