The Movement Space, in its 23rd year, offers classes that combine Ballet, Modern & Improvisation for children of all ages as well as Parent/ Child classes for the very young. The Movement Space has a Senior Dance Company ages 9-13 years and a Junior Dance Company ages 6-9 years. The companies of performers present works choreographed in collaboration. Company members are dancers who have an inter

est in performance and choreography. In the summer and for School Breaks, the Movement Space offers an Arts Camp for children ages 3 to 12 years. The Movement Space is also available for children’s birthday parties. The goal in our classes is to discover movements that come naturally to each individual and then to build strength with alignment and technique.

Dear Movement Space Families and Community -

Today is the Movement Space's last day.

We have been so moved by the outpouring of love, support, and appreciation we have received over the past couple of weeks. Thank you to everyone who sent us an email or posted on Facebook.

We have loved working with your children and have become better human beings because of them. We will miss you all.

Dena is planning on offering online classes when she and Luke are established in New Mexico. We will be in touch then and hope to stay connected with many of you that way.

We are forever grateful and honored for the 26 years we've had in Hoboken and being part of your lives. We wish you every happiness in the years ahead.

Dear Movement Space Families and Community -

We hope you are safe and well in these difficult times.

We are very sad to be posting this but must let you all know that we will not be able to keep the Movement Space open. We had hope but as this current situation has developed, we have had to face the fact that the Movement Space cannot continue and recover.

We have loved working with you and your children and will miss you all. Friday August 28th will be the Movement Space's last day.

We are forever grateful and honored to have lived 26 years in the presence of the beautiful children and families we have met and worked with. Thank you for believing in us.
