This one’s for the LOCALS. 🫶🏼
We are heartbroken to see loss that our community is about to endure.
Our friends at the Kozy Diner have proudly, and faithfully, served, loved and supported our community for the last 20 years—ran by the amazing Hernandez Family.
We remember them serving through COVID in 2020 with takeout meals, social-distancing, easy pick up dinner meals and more. They have been a place to celebrate birthday meals, catered some of our difficult days and, hands down, always serving the BEST banana pudding you could ever have.
To have ever sat at “The Farmer’s Table,”(—IYKYK) and walked out a little wiser, with a little extra gossip, having been teased a little, knowing a little more about the weather and probably a bit about wheat and cattle prices, what equipment they’re working on, how much rain we need and how each of their families are doing—consider yourself blessed. You witnessed men come out of a field to grab a bite, and some who were a little-more-retired, but still the same salt-of-the-earth men who still needed to come in and eat with their friends and neighbors on a daily basis.
After all, it is Where The Great Minds Meet.
We know a lot of the family well and ache for the difficult decision they have had to make.
What a strong reminder of how incredibly importantly it is to shop small and shop local. 🤍
