Their song was “Edelweiss”. According to one source, “symbolic meanings of the edelweiss flower are daring, courage and noble purity.” The flower grows in many inaccessible places. Men would risk their lives to bring the flower to their girl as a symbol of true love.

The sweetest moment of any wedding is when a dad realizes his sacrifices are pale in comparison to the gift he was given.

But, when a step-daughter collapsed in the arms of the man who chose to raise her and he tenderly embraced her, it became epic and a dry eye was nowhere to be found.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! You are the true heroes who know the blessing is worth the sacrifice.

Flowers that steal the show

In this business, you get to know people really well in a very short period of time. Chelsea and Bryan were surrounded by people that wanted their day to be about them and them only. The details were beautiful but not the focal point. The food was fabulous but not the priority. The cake was stunning, but after all, it’s just a cake. The photographer was superb but the photos were not the priority. And, the drinks were appreciated: it was hot. However, the focus, the entire week-end was on Chelsea and Bryan. Every couple should be so lucky to have family so dedicated to serving. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Randall; it was perfect in every way.

I met Asa and Rachael during their engagement shoot in Jackson, Wyoming, and I knew immediately they were two souls that are destined to enjoy forever. They have a contagious ease about them that not too many young couples possess.

They chose to celebrate in Spearfish, South Dakota so their family and friends could enjoy their wedding as well as vacation in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

Rachael’s vision was just simplicity with a nod to her western roots as well as glimpse of boho fun Tables and the church aisle were decorated with black candle sticks, tall topiaries, and green/white florals. Bouquets were full of white roses and peonies. To put it simply, it was a dream come true
