Their song was “Edelweiss”. According to one source, “symbolic meanings of the edelweiss flower are daring, courage and noble purity.” The flower grows in many inaccessible places. Men would risk their lives to bring the flower to their girl as a symbol of true love.

The sweetest moment of any wedding is when a dad realizes his sacrifices are pale in comparison to the gift he was given.

But, when a step-daughter collapsed in the arms of the man who chose to raise her and he tenderly embraced her, it became epic and a dry eye was nowhere to be found.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! You are the true heroes who know the blessing is worth the sacrifice.

In this business, you get to know people really well in a very short period of time. Chelsea and Bryan were surrounded by people that wanted their day to be about them and them only. The details were beautiful but not the focal point. The food was fabulous but not the priority. The cake was stunning, but after all, it’s just a cake. The photographer was superb but the photos were not the priority. And, the drinks were appreciated: it was hot. However, the focus, the entire week-end was on Chelsea and Bryan. Every couple should be so lucky to have family so dedicated to serving. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Randall; it was perfect in every way.

I met Asa and Rachael during their engagement shoot in Jackson, Wyoming, and I knew immediately they were two souls that are destined to enjoy forever. They have a contagious ease about them that not too many young couples possess.

They chose to celebrate in Spearfish, South Dakota so their family and friends could enjoy their wedding as well as vacation in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

Rachael’s vision was just simplicity with a nod to her western roots as well as glimpse of boho fun Tables and the church aisle were decorated with black candle sticks, tall topiaries, and green/white florals. Bouquets were full of white roses and peonies. To put it simply, it was a dream come true

Relationships have valleys and mountains. Some couples never make the journey to the next mountain top: the journey seems to heavy a burden.

Jordan and Darbi have climbed many mountains together and found their strength in one another.

I was privileged to watch them say “forever” in the most beautiful, intimate ceremony with only their families and closest friends.

Here’s to the journey; the views from the top are worth the climb.

Jade Molloy was a small town girl from SW Oklahoma and ventured to Stillwater after high school. Upon graduating OSU with a degree in education, she found herself in another small town, Agra, to begin her teaching. And, that’s where she found Jarrod, her forever. The couple said their vows at The Springs Event Venue in Edmond a few weeks ago.

Jade was by far the easiest bride to stage a wedding for because she is western through and through. It was all cowhides and horns with a lot of wooden and glass features.

The couple’s ceremony was held outdoors under the beautiful pergola at The Springs.

The head table was created with a longhorn, cowhide, and layers of pampas grass.

The longhorn centerpieces adorned with colorful flowers and wooden beads were the focal point of the reception tables as well as wooden bowels filled with floral

Aspen wasn’t sure if forever was on the table, but Shane quickly changed her mind. These two met in Stillwater at the infamous Copper Penny and the rest is history.

At first a big celebration was the plan, but after weeks of planning, they both decided an intimate family affair was their perfect story. And, it was just that, perfect!

Thanks to the perfect collaborators .photos made every detail of the couple, decor, cake and florals look as beautiful as it was on Saturday in Hochatown. And, those invitations by .and.sage were nothing less than perfection! Thanks, ladies, for making it one for the books

Cody walked into Summer’s life at a time when she was starting to doubt that she would ever find the “nice” guy who cherished family and God. And, within a short period of time, they both knew that they had found their person, their forever.

When designing their day, Summer and Cody decided on the perfect venue, the bride’s childhood backyard. Her parents were more than thrilled to help create the perfect backyard memory for their daughter.

The arch was designed and built by Summer’s dad and placed in front of the old family barn which provided the perfect backdrop. The ceremony site was surrounded by flowers grown by one of their dearest friends. And, the cross used for the unity ceremony was designed by BKC Weddings. The bride’s brother officiated the wedding and their other siblings stood by their side.

The head table was created with layers of greenery, tweedia, and blue hydrangeas while the couple relaxed on a vintage blue sofa.

The dough bowel centerpieces adorned with blue hydrangeas and wooden beads were the focal point of the reception tables as well as lanterns filled with blue delphiniums and larkspur.

The bouquets complimented the slate blue dresses selected for the bridal party.
