One of our biggest goals at WNY Fungi Fest is to create an experience that the entire family can enjoy—and we’re so excited to have Francesca, better known as “Chese,” leading the way in our Children’s Corner!

With a background in both early childhood education and environmental science, Chese brings the perfect blend of creativity, curiosity, and a love for the natural world.

Throughout the weekend, she’ll be planning and leading a variety of engaging activities designed for children of all ages and, as she likes to say, “adults with a little extra whimsy to spare.” ✨

From nature-inspired games and creative activities to hands-on exploration and woodland fun, the Children’s Corner will be a place where young adventurers can learn, imagine, and make lasting memories.

At WNY Fungi Fest, we believe some of the best family moments happen outdoors—exploring, creating, and discovering together.

One of the things we’re excited about at WNY Fungi Fest is creating an experience that the whole family can enjoy.

That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Christina from to this year’s festival lineup!

Christina will be leading a fun, grounding, and connection-focused Family Yoga Session, designed to bring families together through movement, mindfulness, and play.

She’ll also be guiding a mushroom-themed children’s yoga adventure, featuring:

During one of our recent scouting adventures, we found an area for our more experienced hikers — complete with a challenging climb and rewarding views along the way.

Not every experience at the festival will happen from a chair or inside a workshop tent.

Some of the best moments will happen on the trails, in the woods, and in the shared adventure of exploring the natural world together.

Whether you’re coming for the mushrooms, the music, the workshops, the community, or the outdoor experiences, we’re creating a weekend that invites you to fully immerse yourself in nature.

There is something really special about supporting emerging talent, creating opportunities, and giving people a platform to share what they love with the world.

We’re excited to welcome DJ Moltzy to this year’s lineup!

Moltzy is a DJ and producer based out of Buffalo who will be bringing a unique mix of assorted EDM tracks to the festival. His passion for music and creative expression shines through his work, and we’re honored to provide a space for local artists to share their gifts with our community.
