Alyssa Fortin Photography Alyssa Fortin Photography Alyssa Fortin is a portrait photographer. She learned the art of black and white photography while earning a BFA.

After finishing her Masters degree, Alyssa taught photography and the fine arts for several years. Her extensive background in the fine arts allows her a comprehensive artistic vision capturing the distinctive images of children and emphasizing their natural expressions and inner beauty. Alyssa Fortin Photography is based in Hingham, Massachusetts. Alyssa works throughout the South Shore area of Boston, and Cape Cod, specializing in natural light, film photography with a focus on newborns, babies and children. Alyssa is inspired by the magic of the darkroom, and produces luminous black and white silver gelatin prints which suit perfectly her natural, unmediated images. She is known for her honest and respectful approach to portraiture. There is magic in childhood and this is what Alyssa longs to capture most - to record and save this magic as precious memories on film.

So excited to see everyone this Sunday, October 18th, for the Hingham Arts Walk!
I’m having a big STUDIO CLEAR-OUT SALE, and there will be lots of beautiful artwork priced to sell!
I’ll have sample prints, grab-and-go boxes, smaller prints, framed artwork, and some gorgeous large framed pieces. So many great things to choose from!

Exciting news! I’ll be part of the Hingham Arts Walk on Sunday, October 18th for a special studio cleanout sale. Come visit me outside The Cashmere Sale at 20 Station Street in Hingham — the red building next to Kloth.
