Every once in a while, someone steps up for you in a way you’ll never forget—and I recently had someone do exactly that for me. ❤️

This summer I went through a small medical issue and had to move a few weddings around due to doctor appointments and procedures. Definitely not how I planned things, and the last thing I ever want is to leave my couples hanging.

So I reached out to Tammy at Two Shall Become One Ceremonies for help. The first thing she said when I explained everything was, “Us officiants must stick together.” And she truly meant it. She didn’t hesitate or make it complicated—she immediately stepped in and had my back. Honestly, that alone made a stressful situation feel a whole lot lighter.

We met up, had some good Bloody Mary’s (the kind that make wedding planning feel a little too easy 😄), talked all things ceremonies, swapped tips and ideas, and went over everything for the couples she so kindly stepped in to help me with.

Tammy didn’t just help me out—she showed up fully, with kindness, professionalism, and heart. People like her are rare, and I’m incredibly grateful for her support during a stressful moment.

I also want to sincerely thank my couples for being so understanding and flexible while I dealt with all of this. I know changes like that aren’t ideal, and I truly appreciate your grace more than I can say.

Everything is over, I am back on the mend, and ready to get back to doing what I love—officiating weddings and celebrating love with my couples.

In the end, I’m just grateful—especially for Tammy, for my couples, and for the reminder that there are still genuinely good people who show up when it matters most.

Friendship over competition, always.

Today was one of those days that remind me exactly why I love what I do. ❤️

It was such an incredible honor to officiate the wedding of a lovely couple who have already shared 35 years of life together. After all those years , today they said "I do" beside the peaceful waters of Brunswick Lake. 💍 💐

The bride's tears of joy were matched only by her beautiful smile. Watching the groom look at her with the same love after 35 years was something truly special.🥹🥹

And to top it all off, they left their ceremony in a gorgeous antique car, heading off to celebrate with lunch together with family—a perfect ending. 🥰
