For several years I have put on events for our friends and family and during those events we are asked if we do events for a living or if we have a business card our answer is always no we just do this for fun...With the love and support of my friends and family I have taken the steps to be able to answer that question with a Yes I am an event planner. Here at Mason Jar Events it is the little thi

Happy Tuesday Y'all! The sun is shining and today is going to be a great day!!

I can't thank you all enough for all the love and support during this time - I can't help but be grateful!! ❤️

Little update - I am up and at it but at a little slower pace, trying to take it easy during this week! I do have the expected pain but it is nothing that can't be handled! I go in tomorrow to follow up with the surgeon and make sure all is looking the way it should be!!

Yesterday I did very little when it came to sitting on the computer but this morning I feel like I will be able to accomplish a lot more!!

We will see what today brings!!

You all know how to make a girl feel so loved ❤️I appreciate every singe one of you for all the support and kind words!

I know that I have been a bit quite about what has been going on with me but some of you have asked and I thought I would put it out there!
-
I have been trying not to think much into things (of course I have had a few moments) but this could be nothing! Since January I was referred to get a mammogram for lump that was found - They did the biopsy, that came back good, but the Drs. still wanted the lump removed and to have it tested again! I have been trying to stay positive this entire time as this could be nothing!

With that being said - Anyone that is going through this I am sorry, I feel for you and know that you have a village know matter what, no matter how much you feel alone - You will always have me by your side!! Because y'all it takes a village to get through this even if it turns out to be nothing! The emotional roller coaster is real even when you try not to let it be!! ❤️

Yesterday I had a lumpectomy done - It was nerve racking in moments but the nurses, the doctors were incredible, Ross was by my side till the very last minute possible and then there when I woke up - This man y'all I don't know how he does it sometimes, he is my rock!! To my village - All the help, texts, the phone calls, helping with the kiddos you know who you are and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!! I couldn't get through this with out ALL of you!! You are all so much more than a village you are family!!! Love you all!! ❤️❤️

As of right now I am okay - Just some pain, swelling as expected. I am going to listen (as much as I can..haha 😉) and take this week to relax and do as much office work as possible!! I go back into the doctors this week and as of yesterday they are saying it looks good, and will just have to get routine mammograms until I am fully in the clear!! ❤️

Wedding cakes specifically are you a traditional person who likes wedding cake as the main dessert for guests or are you a traditional with a twist kinda person meaning cutting cake for the bride and groom and then a variety of desserts for guest to choose from or are you the person who is nixing the cake all together!?

Me…if you wanna know! 😉 I’m somewhere in the middle, it’s your wedding if you want cake let’s have it, if you want to have no cake and have ice cream then let’s do it!! It’s your wedding and bringing in elements that bring your personalities in is my absolute favorite 🙌🏼🤍

I do recommend a keeping a bit of tradition of a small cutting cake and then have a variety of handheld, easy dessert options available for your guests this way they can get back to wedding and on the dance floor 🙌🏼🤍
