This summer, I’m excited to bring even more of the garden into our flowers for you! 🌸

🌱 Homegrown flowers: This will be my third year growing some of my own flowers and adding to the garden, and I can’t wait to use them in arrangements as they’re ready.

👩‍🌾 Local growers: I’ve been connecting with even more flower farmers this year, and I’m so excited to bring more locally grown flowers into my designs, alongside what I’m growing here. I received flowers from two local growers this week, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of these seasonal flowers throughout the summer.

💐 Wrapped flowers: The Saturday I offered wrapped flowers, they had such a great response! I promised someone who missed out that I would do more, so I’ll be bringing them back on select Saturdays this summer for my DIY flower lovers.

Thoughtful Jars, wrapped flowers, and website orders will all be fun ways to share these garden-inspired flowers throughout the summer. 🫙💐

Yesterday’s Thoughtful Thursday jars were delivered! 🌸 Half went to residents at Salem Home and half went to our neighbors at Parkside Home.

A huge thank you to everyone who cheered this idea on. Knowing these flowers brought a few smiles to our local care facility residents made every minute of arranging them worth it.

You know that person who’s been on your mind? Thoughtful Jars were made for them. 🫙💐

Maybe they helped you out. Maybe they’ve had a heavy week. Maybe you just thought, “They should have flowers today.”

I created Thoughtful Jars because I wanted to offer a fun, simple way to give flowers just because. A little jar you can pick up for someone else, or bring home for yourself when you need a little brightness too.

The fun part is that the jar keeps the thoughtfulness going. They can bring it back for more flowers for just $25, or pass it along to someone else when it’s their turn to brighten a day.

Because Thoughtful Jars are all about brightening someone’s day, this week I’m also adding a Sponsor a Senior option. You’ll be able to sponsor Thoughtful Jars for local seniors, separate from the refillable jars, with delivery to local care facilities on Thursdays. (Seniors chosen by the care facility)

To help launch the program, I’ll be donating the first 10 jars tomorrow, Thursday, 5 to Salem Home and 5 to Parkside Home. If you’d like to sponsor a jar for next Thursday’s delivery, you’re welcome to stop in tomorrow, Thursday, from 11am to 1pm.

My hope is that these jars make everyday kindness feel a little easier to give and a little easier to keep going.

Because sometimes the sweetest reason to give flowers is simply:

“I thought you should have flowers today.”

Thank you for a beautiful Mother’s Day week. ❤️

I’m so grateful for everyone who trusted me with garden-inspired flowers for the people you love.

A few little snippets from the week:

❄️ I designed inside the walk-in cooler this year. It was chilly, but it helped keep your flowers extra fresh from start to finish.

🌿 I got to create so many colorful, garden-inspired arrangements, each one a little different from the next.

📍 It was such a joy to deliver more flowers to Marion than I have in past years.

Whether you ordered again, ordered for the first time, shared my name with a friend, or simply cheered me on, thank you. Every order helps me keep doing this work, and I do not take that lightly.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebrations. 💐

Meet your local florist/human popsicle. 🥶🌷

Being a florist sometimes means choosing between personal comfort and the perfect bloom. This Mother’s Day, I cleared a small section of my walk-in cooler and turned it into my design station.

Why the move?Honestly, I did it to save my legs! Working inside means way fewer steps and zero "back-and-forth" with flowers. It keeps my energy high and, more importantly, keeps the flowers in the cold from start to finish. Less travel time means fresher blooms for you.

The only problem? I did not come prepared with warm clothes the first day… so the clean shop towels became my official florist survival gear. Not my most glamorous moment, but hey, the flowers are thriving! 🧣

I may be freezing, but your Mother’s Day flowers are staying extra fresh. 💐
