After 27 years, it’s time to say goodbye. Hilliard Floral Design is officially closed, and it still doesn’t quite feel real. As this chapter ends, we also celebrate the well earned retirement of shop owner, Chris Buroff, whose heart and vision shaped this shop for all of these years. This was never just a flower shop. It was a second home, a work family that became real family, and a place where we were trusted with life’s biggest moments. Weddings, goodbyes, celebrations, and everything in between. Along the way were the early mornings, late nights, tired hands, and aching backs, all poured into something we truly loved. Turning off the lights for the last time is harder than we ever imagined. Thank you for choosing us, supporting us, and growing with us for 27 unforgettable years. Hilliard, we will miss you more than words can say.

As hard as it is to say, this Saturday, 12/20, will be our last day open in the shop. We’ll be here from 9–1, finishing up our final deliveries and spending one last morning with our community. We’ll have arrangements available for pickup, and if you’re hoping for something custom that day, please call ahead so we can take care of you. Thank you for the years of support, kindness, and love you’ve shown us!

We’re also selling several of our display pieces, including two customer favorites. The large custom-built cupboard is $1,200 OBO and the antique cupboard with multiple cubby holes is $250 OBO. Measurements for both can be provided upon request. Items can be viewed in the shop during our regular business hours, and pick up will be scheduled between 12/19 and 12/28.

As many of you already know, Hilliard Floral will be closing by the end of the year. What you might not know is that we are selling window display items. If you have enjoyed our ever changing window scenes over the years, now is your chance to snag an item or two that you can use in your home. Pictured here are a set of deer (SOLD!$150 for the pair), a large gingerbread house (SOLD!), a teardrop camper ($85), and a sleigh ($150). The Holly Hop is almost here! Stop by on Thursday, 12/11 from 6 to 9 while Old Hilliard comes alive with businesses, vendors, and restaurants all joining together for a festive night. It has always been such a fun evening and we’re looking forward to another great turnout. Most of our merchandise will be 75 percent off, with a few exclusions.
