What a whirlwind the last 72hrs have been ✨

On Tuesday, the Livingston Daily News called to inform me that our business, Fantasy Land Face Painting LLC, is nominated for a 2026 Community Choice Award - Best in Family Amusement! I was absolutely shocked, but so humbled and so thankful. I worked so hard on my business this year to go above and beyond in any way I could, and to know that my community saw that and appreciated it is so special ❤️

The next day, we packed up for the Lake House to spend our first anniversary right where we honeymooned. The weather, the water, and my husband’s cooking, have all been more than I could ever ask for!

Extra thanks for my mom Gloria Barkley for holding down their home, our home, my garden and all of her four legged grandkids! You are superwoman!

It takes a village to live in this crazy world and I could not be more thankful for mine!

Walt Disney World Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party kicked off last week, and once I saw the 2026 park menu I need I had to recreate some of my favorite treats! 🤤🍪🎨

Magic was EVERYWHERE at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad this weekend for our annual celebration of the Fantastical Fairytale Festival! 🍄🧚✨

Unicorns, dragons, princesses, fairies, goblins, mermaids - you name it, we had it! Including the world’s best lemonade from my sweet friends Maggie’s Main Squeeze Lemonade! 🍋 So much wonder and so much love at the most magical place! 🥰 I even had a beautiful special Queen visiting with me today at the festival - my MOM! 💕

Came home to a delicious dinner made by my husband and ended the night with a movie we had been wanting to watch!

Crossroads Village And Huckleberry Railroad, THANK YOU for an awesome Jurassic Weekend 2026! 🦖💥🦕 We had the best time! Beautiful weather, great friends, cold “prickly pear lemonade” fresh made and BIG smiles - all at the best family attraction in Michigan!

We’ll be back in the Village next weekend for Touch-A-Truck and the following weekend for the Fantastical Fairytale Festival! 🧚 🎨
