Taking some time to finally “practice” and diving into workshop hosted by Emily.

Vessel is from a potter in New Mexico and blooms included are heuchera from , daffodils, branches, tulips, nandina, fritillaria all from & hellebore (potted) from .

The win win situation is that the heuchera and hellebore will be planted in my garden since they were purchased as potted plant.

Spring in Chicago

Celebrating the season with this year. Although we literally don’t have anything blooming in our lovely 6a zone, I managed to find potted plants and blooms that will be blooming soon in our zone.

This year I decided to skip the in person floral educational workshops and attend an online workshop with to further practice and gain more floral knowledge. Follow me along while I arrange this lovely centerpiece inspired by an amazing floral educator from Belgium, Emily.

This arrangement has a deeper meaning to me than what you may see. Behind this arrangement is a story of encouraging words that were conveyed to me and brought me to tears that I didn’t even know I needed to hear. Words that were sweet like honey and I will cherish forever.

Our first season harvesting blueberries from our farm. We always have blueberries on our counter, even during the winter. So sweet to know where these berries are from.
