Last night was nothing short of EPIC! What a beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable night.

One of my dear friends is no longer here with us, but last night, her beautiful daughter, Heaven, married the love of her life, Michael, and she chose ME to bring her wedding vision to life. Heaven & Michael, I cannot begin to tell you how honored I was to be a part of such a special moment in your lives.

Heaven, I know without a doubt that your mom was smiling down from Heaven last night. I know she was looking at her baby girl thinking about how absolutely BEAUTIFUL you were. And I can just imagine her smiling knowing that I was the HEAD CHIEF IN CHARGE making sure her baby’s special day came together!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing Shavon’s Fabulous Weddings & Events to be a part of your wedding day. When you trust me with one of the biggest days of your life, I don’t take that lightly. I pray that God covers your marriage, strengthens your love, protects your home, and gives you both a lifetime filled with peace, happiness, laughter, understanding, prosperity, and unconditional love. LISTENNNNN… A TIME WAS HAD LAST NIGHT, YOU HEAR ME!!!

First, let me just say my AMAZING bride and groom know how to TURN UP — and BABY, so does their family! Oh my goodness! The love, the laughter, the energy, the dancing… EVERYONE was amazing! This wedding was definitely ONE FOR THE BOOKS!

To my beautiful bride and groom, Teneka Deanna Edwards & Mike Edwards, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with such an amazing and special affair. It meant so much to be a part of your day and to watch the love between the two of you fill the entire room. The way you two love each other is beautiful, genuine, and the kind of love that WILL stand the test of time.

And Neka… GIRL!!! You were and STILL ARE my favorite bride! You told me, “Step, just do you,” and that’s exactly what I did! You trusted my vision, gave me room to create, and EVERYTHING came together beautifully. From beginning to end, it was absolutely AMAZING!

He kept that dance floor PACKED, kept the people moving, and kept the energy HIGH! Baby, YOU DID THAT!!! I’m so proud of you!

May 9th was nothing short of AMAZING. It was truly a beautiful love story for Mr. Daniel & Mrs. Camilla. From the planning process to the final moments of the reception, love filled the room and the atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking.

Good afternoon Facebook family & friends!!

On yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of doing my big cousin’s wedding — Stacey Dunn Johnson (aka Mrs. Johnson now) and her amazing husband Shondell Johnson. This moment for them was truly amazing and a long time coming. Everything about their day was filled with grace, love, and pure joy, just beautiful from start to finish.

As usual, my hubby Leander Herring Jr. aka DJ PrimeTime turned that party every which way but loose, and the guests had an entire BALL!!

Shouts out to my babygirl Shatoria Herring, you are ALWAYS a beast on my event team. You show up and show OUT every time!

Big thank you to my little sis Beverly, you already know you always come through for your girl, and I love you for that!
