K.S.Otter Events is hiring a part-time Wedding Planner. Up to 25 weddings a year (Fri to Sun), about 4 networking events or venue tours a month, and you own your weddings from first meeting to last dance.

$20/hour to start, performance-based raises, client-outcome bonuses, reimbursed travel and supplies, and mentorship from our CEO with a full SOP and template library on day one.

Burlington, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Greensboro, and surrounding areas. Please be LGBTQIA+ affirming in practice and comfortable with 7 to 12 hour event days.

The role:
- Up to 25 weddings a year (Fri to Sun)

- Lead on-site planner on wedding days

- Reimbursed travel, supplies, and networking fees
- Mentorship from the CEO, plus our full SOP and template library from day one

On-site and semi-virtual. Based in (or relocating to) central NC: Burlington, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, or Greensboro.

One of our favorite things about being wedding planners is that no two celebrations are ever the same.

A whimsical Renaissance Faire wedding? Count us in. Rich black and red details with all the moody romance? Absolutely. An earthy celebration that turned into one big party? We loved every second. Ellery & Marty's wedding was a celebration in every sense of the word—from the bright, colorful details to the laughter, happy tears, and countless moments of pure joy shared throughout the day.

One of our favorite moments? Marty stepping up to perform with the band and serenade Ellery and their guests. It was unexpected, exciting, and such a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple.
