**Membership Packages and Sponsorship Opportunity Announcement!**
When searching for Tom’s successor over the past several years, we were hoping to find that organization/group/individual with not only the passion to make HH successful, but also the financial backing to make larger investments in the property ASAP to maximize the Hill’s potential and experience. Well, that did not happen, and we are not that group. We have the passion, drive, and plan to get there over time as quickly as possible, but we do not have the funds to pour in up front. To be honest, we are making several sacrifices while taking this leap of faith in order to keep Highbridge Hills alive and continuously improve the HH experience for all.
That said, there are a lot of you who have asked about setting up a go fund me or ways to donate over the years. We aren’t keen on those ideas of taking without giving back, so we’ve set up multiple packages/offerings to ensure that your generous contributions will give you something in return. Our season passes and sponsorship opportunities are now available to you on our website. We will also be reaching out with non-financial ways to help the Hill and our team over the coming months. Thank you all so much for wanting to help Highbridge Hills continue to be the best dang disc golf destination in the world!
We will be as transparent as possible through this entire process so you all know exactly what is going on with the Hill. It is a total community effort and we feel that all should stay informed. So here is an initial general outline of our plans for spending over the coming years.
Year 1:
We plan to spend as necessary to get the business transitioned and running smoothly and tackle as many of the “little things” as possible to enhance the Highbridge Hills experience without requiring a large investment. This will allow us to get our feet on the ground and have a good idea of the balance sheet at the end of the first year, so we can plan accordingly in future years. Other than basic operating costs, our list of potential spending for year 1 projects includes:
- Mowers…. tune-ups, repairs, and/or purchasing another used one
- UTV
- Open up the Pro Shop / Camp Store
- Tee signs for the courses with finalized layouts.. Woodland Greens and Granite Ridge are in the plans for 2025. Blueberry Hill to follow.
- Pay off Woodland Greens and Granite Ridge baskets (sponsorships available)
- Finish up the lower wooded campground loops
- Improve all campsites as needed… picnic tables, fire rings, and site number signs
- Benches and directional signs throughout the courses
- Marketing Efforts
Future Years (2 - 5):
We will assess the budget at the end of 2025 and lay out a financial plan for the next 2 - 5 years. Our initial list (somewhat in order of priority and certainly not complete) includes:
- Shower House / Bathroom Building
- Electric Sites
- More Cabins
- Equipment storage building
- Running water at the top of the hill
- Improve the internal road system
- Tee signs for all courses
- Fix Tee Pads as needed
- Upgrade baskets as needed
- Build a permanent Main Stage
